CBIRD Trainee Society

Community and career development for postdoctoral researchers and graduate students

CBIRD convenes 40 core faculty members and more than 100 affiliated faculty researchers across 37 Ohio State departments. Together, the CBIRD community represents a diverse and vibrant multidisciplinary training environment for postdoctoral researchers and students to develop into the next generation of impactful and collaborative research leaders. The CBIRD Trainee Society (CBITS) provides professional development workshops and fun activities that connect and educate research trainees from across campus. If you are studying (or have interest to study) chronic brain injury topics, join CBITS!

CBITS Networking Social

The CBIRD Trainee Society (CBITS) is planning a networking social on Thursday, March 26, 2026, 6:00-8:00pm at the Varsity Club. Pizza will be provided, and drinks will be available for purchase. All are welcome to attend, and registration is not required!

This social is following the trainee talks and poster sessions at CBIRD Research Day, which are being held on March 26, 2:00-6:00pm at the Blackwell Inn, Main Ballroom. See more details about our Research Day and a link to register here. Please note - we would love to see you at both events, but attendance at Research Day is not required to attend the following CBITS social.
