Please join us for a discussion on methods for 3D visualization of intact, cleared tissue samples using the Ultra Microscope Blaze. No prior experience is necessary.

We will review the fundamental principles of light-sheet microscopy, with a focus on operating the Ultra Microscope Blaze.

The seminar will also cover different classes of tissue clearing, highlighting the advantages and limitations of each, and providing practical examples of 3D imaging in research. The presentation will conclude with a Q&A session.

Attendees are welcome to reach out after the seminar for tissue-clearing consultations and application-specific questions.

CBIRD Trainee Society | Presenting Your Science
The Ohio State University Center for Brain Injury Recovery and Discovery Trainee Society presents Presenting Your Science, a workshop designed to help trainees turn complex research into clear, compelling communication. Focused on bridging the gap between science and real world audiences, this session will equip participants with practical tools to pitch their research, explain their work with clarity, and strengthen how they write and present across settings.Featuring Katie Thomas, APR, a Lecturer in communication and leader in health marketing, alongside Olga N. Kokiko-Cochran, PhD, an Associate Professor of neuroscience, the workshop brings together expertise in storytelling and science. Trainees will leave with a stronger understanding of how to make their research accessible, engaging, and impactful. Please bring an abstract of a recent publication or presentation if you are planning to attend.
